What is Spinal Osteotomy?
Spinal osteotomy is a surgical procedure usually performed to treat spinal deformitys of various kinds. The procedure is exectued by cutting a bone in part of the vertebral segment and then removed to realign the spine in proper positioning. This surgery is an option when non-surgical procedures fail to relieve pain.
It is used to treat failed spine surgery, scoliosis, and spine deformities.
