ACL Tear
What is ACL Tear?
An ACL (Anterior Cruciate Ligament) tear is a common knee injury. It occurs with a sudden change in direction or pivot against a locked knee. Women are more likely to tear their ACL because of differences in anatomy and muscle function. It may take 6 – 9 months to recover fully from an ACL tear.

What are the Symptoms of ACL Tear?
- A feeling of your knee popping, followed by pain
- Swelling
- Knee instability
- Bruising
- Limping
- Stiffness
- Pain when standing
